At Collins Oral & Facial Surgery, we are confident that we can provide you with the highest quality care based on the extensive training and experience possessed by both Dr. Collins and our staff members. Dr. Collins is a board-certified, dual-degree oral and maxillofacial surgeon who graduated at the top of his class in both dental and medical school and has been practicing in Conway since 1994; currently, he is the only oral surgeon who practices exclusively in Conway. In addition to being certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Dr. Collins is also a fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. His experience combined with his degrees in both dentistry and medicine allow him to provide you with the best oral surgery care possible.
Our expert surgical staff also have years of experience providing surgical care to patients. Our staff members participate in continuing education courses regularly to ensure that our patients are receiving the safest, most advanced care possible. All surgical assistants are required to complete an Anesthesia Assistants course sponsored by the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. In our office, we use a continuous IV infusion during your anesthesia, a basic standard of care for general anesthesia that is uncommon in most other oral surgery practices. During your anesthesia, continuous oxygen reading, blood pressure, and heart rhythms are monitored by trained staff and our anesthesia specialist, Clay Rougeau. Clay is a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, and his expertise combined with the specialized anesthesia practices employed in our office ensure that you have the safest experience possible.
